It's marketed through the Department of Biotechnology, Government the indian subcontinent and funded through the All India Banking Institutions including IDBI, ICICI, IFCI, UTI and IFCI Investment Capital Funds Limited (formely RCTC) and also the corporate sector including Ranbaxy Labs, Glaxo India, Cadila Labs, Lupin Labs, Kothari Sugars and Chemicals, Rallis India, SPIC, Madras Refineries, Zuari Agro, EID Parry, ACC and Stand out Industries.

NER-BPMC continues to be setup through the Department of Biotechnology, Secretary of state for Science & Technology, Government the indian subcontinent, through Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) for development, coordination and monitoring of biotechnology programmes within the North Eastern States the indian subcontinent. Programs under NER-BPMC are asked for that posts of four Senior Consultants one each within the regions of Health care/Medical Biotechnology, Agriculture, Animal Sciences/Animals, HRD.

Emoluments : Rs.60,000/- PM with conveyance allowance of Rs.3,000/- PM.

Educational Qualification & Experience : Candidates getting masters degree within the particular areas i.e. Existence Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharma, Agriculture, Animal Sciences, Animals from the recognized College having a minimum of ten years of relevant experience of the particular areas ideally in applying major research programmes.
